AXYS Environmental Consulting Ltd provides services in impact assessments, protection planning, field surveys and monitoring, ecological land classification, habitat assessments, ecological restoration and reclamation, oceanography, meteorology, chemistry, terrain mapping, computer mapping (GIS), database management, development of custom software for GIS and database management, regulatory process and review, environmental management planning, and public consultation.

AXYS Analytical Services Ltd is an environmental laboratory specializing in custom and routine trace organic analyses for a broad spectrum of organic compounds in air, water, soil, effluent, pulp, oils, sludge, industrial wastes, human tissues, blood, milk, and animal and plant tissues. Services include study design, field sampling, laboratory analysis, and data interpretation. AXYS Analytical has been rated the leading commercial laboratory in Canada for analysis of polychlorinated dioxins and furans.

AXYS Technologies Inc. manufactures moored buoys for routine weather and seastate forecasting, as well as specialized buoys for research and development of new sensors, power supplies, and other buoy components. AXYS has worked with Environment Canada for many years to build the second largest operational meteorological buoy network in the world. In 1998, AXYS introduced the TRIAXYS ™ Directional Wave buoy, a revolution in wave measurement. The Company also manufactures an unique water quality monitoring instrument, INFILTREX, which is in use in 27 countries.

SEASTAR CHEMICALS INC specializes in providing the highest purity acids & base. Since its inception in the mid 80's, the SEASTAR™ name has become synonymous with ultra-pure acids. Our ultra-pure acids & base are used by research, environmental and quality control laboratories around the world. SEASTAR™ also manufactures BASELINEâ High Purity Teflonâ Bottles to assist in storage & handling of ultra-pure liquids, as well as DISPENSING DEVICES to assist in delivering ultra-pure liquids including hydrofluoric acid.
SEASTAR™'s facilities include over 2500 square feet of specially designed clean room laboratory space. We have better than class 100 and 10 sample work-up areas of all plastic construction enabling us to minimize blanks during sample handling. A separate clean room houses a FINNIGAN Element 2 High Resolution ICP/MS, a PE SCIEX Elan 6000 ICP/MS and a GBC Graphite furnace A.A. for sample analysis. Our analytical capabilities are available as a service to our customers for problems in trace metal chemistry.
